A pal sent me a message asking me to help her out on the procedure on how to deactivate her Facebook account. I outlined it out and that's exactly what I'm going to do next as soon as I post this! Facebook is just too addictive and in my case, for as long as it as active, I'll visit it! The only way out is leaving!!
1) On the top bar, on the extreme right where you see your name, there's an arrow-like icon, click on it...
2) While there, scroll down to "Settings" click on it...
3) While there, on your left, you'll see "General" then under it "Security", click on Security...
4) On the main page whilst under "Security" scroll with your eyes to the bottom, you'll see "Deactivate your Account", click on it...
5) A first stupid window will come up, DO NOT CLICK ON CLOSE, still click on "Deactivate your Account"...
6) Ignore the photos, on the part "Reasons for Leaving" click on °This is temporary. I'll be back.
7) A second STUPID window will open asking you to instead "Log out", click on CLOSE! Facebook is soooo silly trying by all means to keep people on their stupid page hihih!!
8) Just before you click on "Deactivate" you will see another even STUPID option that is automatically selected for you, that is, "Auto reactivate"...WHY THE FUCK DO THEY DO THIS!!!!
Undo the selection by clicking on it!!!
These people are so fucked up and manipulative, they want to control the masses' decisions!!
Lastly, click on "Deactivate", you'll be prompted to enter your PASSWORD then finally click on "DEACTIVATE NOW!!!"
And you'll be good to go!
